The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam date and shift details of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains 2019.
JEE Mains 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam date and shift details of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains 2019. All the candidate can check the date and shift on which they gave to appear for the exam on the official website of JEE, the link for which is jeemain.nic.in
About JEE Main:
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. This examination was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018.
JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75 per cent marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65 per cent in the 12th class examination.

- Go to any of the website: nta.ac.in, jeemain.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the link “know your date and shift”
- Enter your application number and captcha in the space provided
- Click search and find your details
- Check all the details carefully
- If required, take print out of the same for future use.
Note: Also, all the candidates can find a link for mock test on the official websites, with its help; they may get themselves accustomed with the computer based exam pattern of JEE Main 2019.
Examination dates:
The JEE Main 2019 will be held from January 6 to January 20 .
Selection procedure:
All those candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE (Mains) will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam round. Students will be allotted colleges on the basis of these two written exams.
Important dates:
- Downloading of admit cards: December 17, 2018
- Dates of examination: January 6 to January 20, 2019
- Declaration of results: January 31, 2019
